These terms apply to visiting and using protonyte.com. They do not set the terms of any engagement. Testing work is always governed by a written proposal, a scope document and a non-disclosure agreement signed by both sides before anything begins.
Our pages and articles describe how security testing works in general. They are not advice about your particular systems, and acting on them is not a substitute for having your own environment assessed. Whether a given control or finding applies to you depends on details this website cannot know.
Sending the contact form starts a conversation. It does not create an engagement, oblige us to take on work, or oblige you to buy any. Nothing is agreed until it is agreed in writing by both of us.
You are welcome to read, quote and link to anything here. Please do not attempt to attack, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to this website or the systems behind it. We test systems for a living and we only ever do it with written permission; we ask the same of visitors. Unauthorised access to a computer system is a criminal offence in Pakistan under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, and in most other countries under equivalent law.
If you believe you have found a security problem with this website, please tell us at info@protonyte.com rather than demonstrating it. We will take it seriously and we will not come after anybody who reports in good faith.
The text, design, logo and graphics on this site belong to Protonyte. Quote us with attribution and a link; please do not republish whole pages as your own. Certification marks shown on this site belong to the bodies that issue them and appear only to indicate qualifications our engineers hold.
Where we link to another site we do so because it was useful at the time. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they do or say.
We try to keep this site up and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove pages without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
